Overview

The Civil engineering program aims to transform students into competent professionals in Civil engineering giving high quality education and technical knowledge to analyze problems and to find solutions minimizing damage to ecology and environment. The curriculum comprises Materials Of Construction, Principles of Surveying, Engineering & Structural drawing, Computer Aided Designs (CAD), Water Resources, Engineering mechanics, Strength of Materials, RCC, Concrete Technology and construction methodologies. The program develops the students to become strongly committed to a high level of professional ethics and adherence to public safety and reliability.

Eligibility

Criteria for admission to polytechnic is SSLC or equivalent with percentage specified by the DTE. Lateral entry to second year diploma for ITI and PUC students in Science stream.
